Episode 27.

A quick podcast about what I’d do with a million or more dollars, and why our culture seems to believe that the world is ending. That latter point is just a few thoughts on the topic, as I don’t know and am not sure anyone really does. Add in one of my favorite songs by SJ Tucker and it’s an episode.

A quick podcast, where I talk a little bit about Politics, and a little bit about the Student Loan crisis that is affecting the US right now, along with your humble podcaster. Add in some of the chaos that is the job situation here, and you have a podcast that is me talking about several of the things that are worrying me right at this moment in time. I also once again recommend you find the podcast “Waking from the American Dream”.
Add in a song by Marc Gunn and it’s a podcast.
Marc can be found at http://www.marcgunn.com/ and I recommend his songs for pure enjoyment.
Please forgive the weird little audio glitch…I’m trying to nail that down and what is happening there.

I’ve got a brief update today. No music, just me talking about my thoughts on the Occupy movements that are going on around the country (Or is it worldwide yet?). This was inspired by a quote from a friend, which I posted on Facebook, and got several responses to that, so I thought I should try to clarify here. Anyway, these are my reasons and concerns with the movement as it currently stands.

I start out talking about Television, and in particular Torchwood and the SyFy channel, and the cancellation of Eureka.
Then, Tom Smith regales us with “Hey It’s Can(n)non.
I come back weeks later, and talk about what is currently going on in my life. This includes starting to write a memoir.
I apologize for the sound quality. I have no idea what is going on with it, but am attempting to get some kind of clarity for future podcasts. If it’s annoying you, believe me, it’s annoying me too.
I then close out with a new song from Mikey Mason. Unwed Teenage Gothling Mom to Be.
Please go check out Tom Smith, Mikey Mason, and Kelly Carlin (Whose podcast I mentioned). I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed in any of them.

Woohoo! 23 Podcasts under the belt.
A quick one today, talking a little about Gencon, and about the state of the comic book industry. No music, as I wanted to get this one up before going down and starting to work for Gencon.
Episode 22.

I talk about money fears, concerns, and job hunting trauma in the first half of the podcast, and then play “We Are The Fump”, by The Fump. Coming back from that, I speak about Gencon, and the fun that it should be this next week, and close with the song “Gamer Funk”, by Rob Balder.
An image of the Kiss Print that I’m trying to find and price a value for is located here.
The wonderful music from The Fump is located here.
Information on Gencon is located here.

Wow, hard to believe there are now 20 of these things in the ether…
Today, a very brief podcast. I talk about the upcoming convention, some of what has been going on with me, and talk of trying to do some podcasting from the convention I’ll be at this weekend. If you can be there too, you should be!

Today is an interview with Katt McConnell. We talk of her projects that are coming up, talk of Kickstarter as a tool for funding projects, and a variety of other questions throughout the ‘cast. This is different than most of my podcasts, and I enjoyed doing the interview quite a bit. Followed up with a song by Katt, “The Garden”. I apologize, as due to the microphone placement, this is a little softer than some of my other podcasts. Ah, the joys of learning what works for different segments.

Today, (Er…a few days ago), I talk of being a Graduate. Yes, I have now graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, and talk of the next steps, including Job Hunting. I thank The FuMP for providing 15 albums for free (Their first 15), which makes it easier to have music for the Podcast. Talk about friends who are starting businesses, which I hope to have interviews with some in the future. Talk about recipes, and that it is fun (and stressful) trying to figure how to make some recipes Gluten-Free. I play the Advertising piece for the Fump, play Muppet Laboratories by Rob Baldur.
I come back and explain the Holding Pattern of Graduation, Support Networks, and ramble for a little bit. And close out with 99 Word for Boobs, by Robert Lund. Meaning to exit the podcast at that point, I end up having to come back and explain why “99 Red Balloons” holds such a soft spot for me.
Rob Baldur, Robert Lund, and The Fump can all be found here at The Fump
